LifeFlight Lifesaving Lottery Winners Are Blown Away

Draw 10 of the LifeFlight Lifesaving Lottery has come and gone and we have a brand new LifeFlight Lifesaving Lottery winner! We were fortunate to speak with the winning ticket holders and congratulate them on the win.

Warwick Winners 

The winning ticket number, 2646, was purchased in a $50 ticket book by a charming couple from just outside Warwick, in QLD. They are long-time supporters of LifeFlight and have contributed to the cause for many years. 

We were excited to contact the winner and broke the news to Mr H that he and his wife had won the first prize for draw 10. The man in his 80s jokingly asked if the prize was a ride in the helicopter, but upon learning they had won a $25,000 prize package, he was delighted!

“I’ll be blowed! We don’t win anything, this is great!” 

After confirming the ticket and win, we thanked Mr H for purchasing in the draw. The money raised from ticket sales helps contribute to the vital services that LifeFlight offers. The man explained that he is a regular supporter of LifeFlight and shared his experience and awareness of the service.

“Oh yes, we know LifeFlight. See, we’re in a rural area. We live a little outside Warwick and you’re our link with the city - with Brisbane. We see almost daily the helicopter goes to our local hospital. It’s such a godsend. Especially when you’re an old fart like me and my wife!”

$25,000 Prize Choice

The LifeFlight Lifesaving Lottery winner of draw 10 was able to choose between a $25,000 prize package, complete with $20,000 in grocery and fuel vouchers, plus $5,000 to spend, OR $25,000 cash. 

Mr H explained that his wife had just walked in and that he would need to sit her down, break the news, and discuss which option to choose. What an exciting conversation to have!
